​Okoboji favorite Boon and Lambert is an acoustic duo formed by long time working musicians David Boon and Gary Lambert. They each spent years honing their craft in different music scenes (Boon in Sioux Falls, Lambert in Minneapolis). Both relocating to the Okoboji area, they connected in 2010 and found an instant musical chemistry. Shortly thereafter Boon joined Lambert’s band “Rock ala Carte” (best known for their outstanding Queen tribute). They have since shared the stage with several national acts and have taken their show to multiple cities around the country including Detroit, Cleveland, and Atlanta.

​Wanting to develop something more suited for the small stage, the pair decided to scale things back. What developed was a tasty acoustic guitar/bass combo along with vocal harmonies that are a cut above your average coffee shop act. Songs from the Beatles, Queen, Johnny Cash, Weezer, and even the Neon Trees can all be heard at a Boon and Lambert set. With their diverse catalog, Boon and Lambert are sure to connect with fans of almost any music genre.
